Psychologically Healthy, Happy Person
A psychologically happy and healthy person achieves happiness and strives to go beyond through process of self-actualization. Dr. Abraham Maslow, father of humanistic psychology, has shed light on various characteristics prevalent in a healthy and psychologically happy person. Of course, Dr. Maslow was himself a self-actualizing person. Most such happy persons are the key contributors to the health and happiness of the society and community as a whole.
Specific and Evident Characteristics of Self-Actualizing People
A happy and healthy person dispels following individualistic uniqueness in his personality and character:
- Stoic acceptance of the facts of life without questioning their occurrence
- Humanity encompasses not only family and friends but also everyone and
everything interacting with human existence
- Perceiving, believing, and reasoning truth and dwelling deeper in to the
surreal realities to develop accurate perceptions in life
- Such perceptions help understand and mark clear discriminations between
right and wrong or good and evil
- Resolving conflicts easily because of their easy acceptance of the basic
philosophies of life
- An aura of calm and peace with themselves and therefore able to focus on
higher realms of life and consequent happiness
- Avoiding being self-centered and being more creative due to intense naivety
and spontaneity
- Placing greater importance on the character and values of a person rather
than materialistic parameters and concentrating on problem solving rather than on its occurrence
- Simple, spontaneous, and natural existence placing high value on essential
habits and emphasizing higher-level values like Meta values
Dr. Maslow stressed that you need to meet and satisfy lower and basic needs like safety, health, belonging, love, and status before proceeding to higher Meta values. Such higher Meta values include simplicity, perfection, completion, goodness, uniqueness, honesty, justified approach, and a feeling of continuing aliveness invigorating everything.
Psychologically healthy and happy people support a free mind and proceed towards a more productive and peaceful phase. However, if there arises any danger to their basic values in life, they still proceed ahead toward their higher goals without perceiving any danger to their basic values. The broader perspective of such happy people differentiates them from the other commoners.

Have you ever wondered why it is that certain people seem to attract success in every facet of their lives? It's almost as if they have a "midas touch" where every little thing they do seems to open doors of abundance, prosperity and success!
Now you, too, can learn the powerful secrets that these people use in their everyday lives to motivate themselves to success.
In Chapter 5, learn how to cultivate an attitude of positive expectancy. Discover how to master your emotions in Chapter 9. Chapter 36 teaches you ten useful self-motivating tips to use every day.
Please don't visit this success formula if you already have that "midas touch." But, if you are not experiencing a self-motivated, success lifestyle like you deserve, don't pass this up!
It begins like any other day. After hours of tossing and turning, you have finally fallen into a fitful sleep when you are jarred awake by the blaring of your alarm clock. Already feeling depleted before the day begins, you drag yourself out of bed, stagger to the shower and try to shake off the nagging anticipation of another daily grind.
You fly through the kitchen with a hasty good morning, grab your cup of coffee and bark at your 3 year old who is reaching for your arms with oatmeal covered fingers. She cries, your wife snaps and out the door you run to join the safari just as the sun is rising.
Are you a Ticking Time Bomb? Do you even know if you are? It's irrefutable. Stress is a risk factor for heart disease and other illness and what you don't know CAN kill you. Do you know the three stages that stress goes through when manifesting itself in your life?
If you have ever wanted to become a good "jokester" here is your chance.
We aren't talking about another overdone joke book. We are talking about exploring the anatomy of a joke and learning the basics of joke telling, plus a ton of terrific jokes.
Nowhere else will you find a guide that will teach you "joke etiquette."
Whether you are already a good storyteller or someone who would like to learn how to develop and deliver a joke repertoire, there is something for everyone in "The Power Of Laughter."
